2014/2015 Income Tax Structure


On the 20th of February 2014, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Leketekete Victor Ketso,made a proposal in the 2014-2015 budget speech to reduce Pay As You Earn (PAYE) rates from 22% and 35% to 20% and 30%, respectively.

2014/2015 Income Tax Structure

On 20 February 2014, in his Budget Speech, the Honourable Minister of Finance, Dr. Leketekete Victor Ketso, recommended changes to the resident individuals' income tax structure. The changes are to be effective from 1 April 2014. The relevant instrument, the Income Tax (Amendmend) Act No.2 of 2014,contained under Government Gazette No. 33 of 13 June 2014, has been duly enacted and published.
